We are your local neighborhood church; a fellowship of Christian brothers and sisters that meet together every Sunday at the little white church in the valley along the banks of Poplar Fork in Leon, West Virginia.

A place to pray with the family of God...

As a church family, we support one another and our neighborhood in prayer, reaching out to God, our Father, in earnest supplication for the needs and concerns that we all encounter in this life.

A place to study and learn from the Word of God ...

There is a vast wealth of wisdom and knowledge to be shared from the Bible, and together we dedicate ourselves to the study these words from God. It is through the listening of the preaching of this Word, and through the interactive study of its meaning in our lives that helps us to grow in wisdom and the love of God. Whether young or old in years, or young or old in our faith, there is always more that we can glean from the scriptures.

A place from which to go out & spread the Gospel ...

Having been equipped with the understanding of the Good News, and encouraged by our family of faith, we have found that we can enter into each new day with joy and thanksgiving to our Father above for the blessings that He has given us. Not the least of which is the love of those that we worship with and fellowship with here at Wolfe Valley Baptist Church.
